Christian Democracy UK is a new, independent think tank dedicated to renewing British politics and society through the principles of Christian democracy. We were founded in 2025 to provide a distinctly Christian voice in public life, rooted in faith, tradition, and the pursuit of the common good.

Our team brings together young leaders, writers, church figures, and policy thinkers from across the country, united by a shared conviction that Britain needs a new political settlement grounded in family, community, and faith. We are not a political party, but a forum for serious thought, policy development, and cultural renewal.

We are committed to reviving ideas too often forgotten in modern politics: the dignity of labour, the responsibilities of stewardship, the centrality of family and community, and the role of faith in shaping a just society. Our work spans education, economics, culture, the environment, and foreign affairs, always guided by Christian social teaching and a rejection of both extreme individualism and top-down statism.

Christian Democracy UK exists to challenge the secular assumptions of modern politics and to offer a constructive, hopeful alternative. We believe that Britain’s future depends on recovering its Christian heritage and orienting politics once more toward virtue, justice, and the common good.
